Year 2021-22 Charity Donations

A list of those we were able to help

TAKING STOCK OF OUR CHARITY DONATIONS IN 2021/2022
At our Special General Meeting last week we considered our successful record of charity donations during the year 2021/2022. Although we were recovering from the pandemic, the club was able to distribute a magnificant £5778 to twenty two good causes.
These extended from various health related charites (e.g. Prostate Cancer UK, Bolton Hospice, Hearing Ambassadors, Lagan's Foundation, and the Motor Neurone Association), to helping those in need (e.g. Wrap Up UK, Mary's Meals, the Salvation Army, Ukrainian refugees and Urban Outreach) via support for people to develop and grow (e.g. Laptops for Schools, Literacy in a Box, Lend With Care, Youth Speaks and a technology tournament of school children).

In spite of the challenging times, we are dedicated to continuing our support which is more needed now than ever.
