Seagate Rotary had a talk this week on chiropractic care from McTimoney chiropractor Joy Gill from Ayr. The McTimoney chiropractic method treats many sources of pain and discomfort by the gentle realignment of the skeleton, primarily the spine, to rebalance the body and relieve any pressures on the nerves and stress in the muscles. Pressure on the nerves in the spine can be the source of discomfort in numerous seemingly unrelated areas. This is a whole body approach, rather than site specific, which can be of benefit to all age groups. There were numerous questions as many Seagate members appear to have had back pains or sports injuries which might benefit from such treatment, and a Vote of Thanks was proposed by Allan Morrison.
