Howbury Hall is a beautiful Grade II Listed mansion. It was rebuilt in 1849 following a fire and sits in a park of about 100 acres with a 10-acre traditional garden at the centre of a busy farm. The estate has woodland gardens, vegetable and flower gardens. It also has a walled garden, greenhouses and a small commercial cut flower nursery as well as a new heritage fruit tree orchard and beehives. Parking and WC available. Limited wheelchair access. Refreshments and facilities subject to prevailing COVID rules.
Directions: From Bedford, take the A4280 (Goldington Road) towards Cambridge. Continue straight ahead at the roundabout with the Go Outdoors superstore. After half a mile, turn left into Howbury Hall By kind permission of: Mr J Polhill and Ms L Copeman
