How would you like to join fellow established artists and enthusiastic amateurs to paint and draw Bedford’s beautiful riverside and raise money for charity?
On Sunday 29 May, The Rotary Club of Bedford Park is encouraging everyone, regardless of their artistic experience, to join Paint Bedford, their creative charity event to raise money for the Art Well charity in Kempston.
All ages are welcome from 10am until 2pm between Newnham Bridge and the Suspension Bridge along the Embankment and although no previous experience is necessary, you will need to provide your own materials.
Paint Bedford is a fundraising event organised by the Rotary Club of Bedford Park in aid of The Art Well, a registered charity at Project 229 in Kempston.
The charity helps people struggling with their mental health through art and craft.
Adult and junior prizes for the event have been provided by The Arc on Howard Street and the paintings will be displayed on their gallery wall following the competition. The event is sponsored by Lane & Holmes estate agents.
