Presidential Handover

This week we had our Presidential handover from President Roger Dale to incoming President Ronnie Monaghan and Vice President Peter Brown. Peter Fischer has retained the role of Treasurer for another year and new member, Lucy Mackay has been appointed as our Secretary.

We also had the honour of having guest speaker, Wendy Price from the University of Sunderland attend the evening along with her husband Nathan Price. Wendy’s extraordinary efforts have recently been acknowledged with an Order of the British Empire (OBE) award in the Queen’s Birthday 2022 Honours List ‘for services to Higher Education’. Thank you for enlightening us on the incredible work you do and for making our evening particularly special.
