Rotary gives support to sewing group

Northeast England Sewing for the Front Line is a group of volunteers established in early April to sew scrubs, caps and bags for NHS staff in hospitals across the region. They set up a page on 'Go Fund Me' to raise funds to purchase fabric and supplies so that they could sew more items that are needed on the front line to help battle Covid-19.

Washington Forge Rotary became aware of their fantastic work and has donated £250 to assist them to purchase materials.

If you would like to contribute see their appeal at https://uk.gofundme.com/f/northeast-england-sewing-for-front-line… or contact them if you feel you can help.
