Remembrance Day Service and Parade

The community assemble in Washington Village to show their respect.


The Remembrance Sunday Service and Parade in Washington Village brought the local community together to recognise the sacrifice and dedication of those who have laid down their lives for their country. The Rev’d Canon David Glover led the Service and poppy wreaths were placed at the war memorial on behalf of many associations and individuals. 'Rotary' wreaths were laid by President Ronnie Monaghan (Washington Forge) and President Bill Stephenson (Washington). 'Lest we forget'
