Washington Triathlon and Duathlon

A very early start for our team of volunteer marshals today supporting the Washington Triathlon and Duathlon. Over 100 competitors took part, either completing the swim, bike ride and run in the Triathlon; or a run, bike ride, run for the Duathlon. Based at the Washington Leisure Centre where the swimming took place, the run element was held around Princess Anne Park. Washington Forge Rotarians predominantly marshalled the road cycle route.

Great efforts by all those who participated and all those who supported Race Director, Ian Arnott and his team at Get Set North. Next year's event is already set for Sunday 12th July 2020. #peopleofaction
