Rotary Young Photographer 2019

Biddick Academy students submit entries for this year's competition.

Rotarian Bob Twist with winner Jack Snaith, runner-up Holly Seddon (right), and Lauren Fair whose work was 'highly commended'.

The Rotary Young Photographer Competition is a well-established event and it gives participants the chance to express themselves through photography in an imaginative way and to experiment with digital and traditional methods. The theme this year was 'Beauty of Nature' and we were delighted to again receive entries from students at the Biddick Academy for our club competition. Well done to everyone for the high standard of work and congratulations to Jack Snaith who was our winner in the 'senior' category. His photographs have now been entered for the Rotary North East Final. And thank you to members of Washington Camera Club for assisting us with the judging. #betheinspiration
