Guest speaker was John Pattison on 'Broken Promises' - a story of the Oglala Lakota
Our guest speaker at our meeting this evening was John Pattison who gave a presentation entitled 'Broken Promises'. This was about the history of the Oglala Lakota in South Dakota and included John's experiences during his stay on the Pine Ridge Reservation. Members of Birtley Rotary also joined us to hear what was a detailed and fascinating story of these First Nation people.
