RYLA Presentation Evening

The Rotary North East RYLA Presentation Evening was held tonight at The Northumbrian Suite, Dunston. An excellent attendance with those present learning more about the recent Rotary Youth Leadership Award weeks held at The Kingsway Centre, Middleton-in-Teesdale. These courses aim to develop skills in team work, leadership, communication, problem solving and decision making. Congratulations to the award winners and to all of the 36 young people who were presented with certificates by District Governor Stewart Atkin following their successful completion of the course, including Luke Corrigan from Washington who was sponsored by our own club. And well done to the staff at the Centre and to Terry Long, our District RYLA Co-ordinator.
