'Food for Christmas' Appeal 2017

We are running our annual appeal again this year and will be collecting food in the Washington area for distribution through The Salvation Army to families in need
Our first 'Food for Christmas' collection took place this evening around Avebury Drive, John F. Kennedy Estate and Fatfield Park. We had a wonderful response from residents to the appeal for which we are very grateful. Graham Wharton of The Salvation Army met us at our weekly venue at The Holiday Inn to accept the collection from us. Graham and his team will now arrange appropriate distribution within the area. Well done to all of our volunteers for their efforts on a cold night but for what is a very worthy cause. Thank you to everyone who contributed this week. #makingadifference
