The Mock Interview Experience! 2025
The annual event proceeded as planned, with all available
students from Beaminster School, year ten, being escorted to
The Public Hall in groups of five.
This was very well organised by the school admin team (thanks to Mrs Dodds).
Half-hour interviews were conducted using the Rotary Mock Interview template available thanks to the Rotary Club of Wrexham (Erddig).
Next, we plan to solicit feedback from students' comments from school staff members. Each year, we learn about how we can modify the one-to-one conversations in order to maximise their impact. Advice and tips on what to do in preparation for “the next” interview are provided to be kept by the students in a Rotary Wallet for later reference.

more Practice Interviews for young people. Club members interviewed pupils from Beaminster School as an introduction to the worlds of further education and work. The students said they found the experience very helpful and they had been nervous in advance.
