The parade took place this year on Sunday, 9th November, beginning at 10:30 am from East Street.
Brit Valley and Bridport Rotary Club members marched together to the War Memorial and St Mary’s in South Street, followed by a two-minute silence.
Wreaths were laid on behalf of the clubs by John Clegg (Brit Valley) and Bernard Paull (Bridport). Proceeds from the purchase of wreaths have gone to The Royal British Legion.
Peace is one of the pillars of our work within Rotary. That includes not only tackling the causes of conflict and assisting those impacted today but also commemorating the sacrifices that previous generations have made.
