Rotary Mock Interviews 2025

Mock Interviews are a community service where the Brit Valley Rotary Club
members conduct practice interviews for students who attend
Beaminster School, when in Year 10, to help them develop interview skills

Skills for University, College, or Job applications.
These sessions involve Rotarians who have recruitment and
interviewing experience, giving 20-30 minute interviews followed by
constructive feedback to help students build confidence and learn how to

present themselves effectively.

How Rotary Mock Interviews Work:

1. Partnership with the School:
Brit Valley Rotary Club partners with Beaminster School to offer
These sessions are for students in Year 10.

2. Experienced Interviewers:
Rotary members with professional backgrounds in business,
Recruitment or University admissions serve as interviewers.

3. Interview sessions:
Students participate in a timed practice interview, which is designed
to simulate the experience of a real interview for a job or
University.

4. Constructive Feedback:
Following the interview, the interviewer provides one-to-one
Feedback on the student’s performance, helping them to improve
their technique and confidence.

5. Skill Development:

Interviews are set to take place
place at Beaminster Public
Hall during November

The goal is to help young people practice key interview skills
skills like presenting themselves well, articulating their
thoughts and building confidence for future interviews!
