Young Musician Results

Year 11 student Jacob Barnard and Year 8 Sophie Mills

Represented Beaminster School brilliantly at the District 1200 final of the Young Musician competition held on Sunday 4th March.

They received very positive and helpful feedback and we are proud of them for their fantastic performances.

Jacob played some Einaudi on piano and Sophie played a selection of her grade six saxaphone pieces. We wish her luck in her exam later this month.

Following the event, Jacob has received an invitation to attend A MASTERCLASS  conducted by world-acclaimed concert pianist Peter Donohoe on 28th April- St John the Baptist church in Churchill.

A remarkable opportunity, well done to you Jacob.
