Guide Dogs for the Blind Association

Geoff and his guide dog Pringle visited Brit Valley, in August 2024 with an inspirational presentation:

“Pringle is my guide dog, my constant companion, my best friend”.

Geoff Hunt is a resident of Bridport and the keeper of Pringle upon whom he has come to depend in so many ways.

In his presentation, Geoff explained in detail the process of training guide dogs from puppy age until ready for “matching” with a prospective, sight-impaired keeper.

Geoff finished his talk with an inspirational account of his own journey from losing his sight to living with Pringle.

What a difference a guide dog can make to the life of a visually impaired person!
