Three local youngsters were sponsored to attend the one-week Leadership course in July this year:
Summer who attends Colfox school together with Frank and Zac from Beaminster School all enjoyed their week away at the Brecon Beacons.
They said: “We had a great time, lots of fun and many new friends. Most of all we learnt a great deal about leadership which we will need in the years ahead.”
Next, there will be a presentation by the students to Brit Valley Rotary Club taking place at Haddon House on Wednesday 25th September. They know their job is to convince us to sponsor students again next year. (And of course, we will.)
