ROTARY YOUNG LEADERSHIP AWARDS (RYLA) 2023
This is Ella Thomas receiving her end-of-course award for completing the Week-long program of training at “The Storey Arms” outdoor activity center Brecon Beacons. The course took place during July 2023 and Ella was one of 40 students Aged 16 and 17 attending. Brit Valley Rotary Club selects one and sometimes two students from Beaminster School each year to attend the week-long residential course. Course fees including accommodation and all meals are paid for by The Rotary Club. The next course will take place in the summer shutdown from school In 2024 and applicants from Beaminster school year 11 are invited to apply By first writing a letter explaining why they are the ideal candidate. Letters please to Mr. Donovan.
