The Lincolnshire Environmental Community Award - 2024

The final of the Lincolnshire Community Environmental Award took place at Whisby Nature Reserve on Saturday September 28th.

Chris Milnes - Chaiman of the Lincolnshire Enviromental Community Awards

Organised by the Lindum LIncoln Rotary Club in collaberation with the LIncolnshire Wildlife Trust and sponsored by Pennells Garden Centres
This year there were 11 entries from across the County.
After visiting 6 projects the judges Steve Lovell and Liz Lucas selected three finalist: -
They were: -
Cherry Fields Community Project
Nettleham Woodland Trust
Community Growers CIC Boston
All three gave interesting presentations of their projects and it was difficult for the judges to declare a winner.
They were all potential winners but Cherry Fields deservedly came out on top.
We look forward to another exciting competition in 2025
