Christmas 2024 Sleigh Dates

We will be out and about with our Sleigh in December raising funds for Isabel Hospice and other charities supported by Brookmans Park Rotary.  Please do watch out for Father Christmas and the Santa Sleigh in Welham Green on 5th and 8th December, in Brookmans Park on 12th, 15th,16th and 19th December and at Tesco Hatfield 21st-24th December.   We will also be at the Potters Bar Farmers Market on 1st December and our colleagues from Potters Bar Rotary will be there on the 15th.  

Please check out the relevant pages on our website nearer the time for full details of the Sleigh routes.  All dates are subject to suitable weather conditions as we must keep Santa and his Elves safe.

As many of you are aware we have organised a Christmas Tree for Brookmans Park community for nearly 20 years. Despite great efforts we were not able to get the electricity supply restored to the Main Green. Discussions have been on going with the Parish Council for the last year to try to rectify this and the costs we were quoted to restore the power were well beyond what we as a community group and charity could afford.  It has never been a question of not being willing to run the event, but being unable to. Members of the Rotary Club are still willing to help, using their previous experience of this event, if the proposed community group can overcome the issues.  We are hoping to bring the Sleigh along to the proposed event on 30th November.
