Jennifer Ann Seagrove trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and first came to attention playing the lead in a television dramatisation of Barbara Taylor Bradford's A Woman of Substance and the film Local Hero. She starred in the thriller Appointment with Death and William Friedkin's horror film The Guardian. She later played Louisa Gould in Another Mother's Son.
Her starring roles are far too numerous to mention here, but Wikipedia gives you a comprehensive rundown of Jenny's varied and substantial career in film, TV and theatre productions. She also features on You Tube clips in many of her films and plays.
Jenny is currently performing in the West End with Martin Shaw in 'Love Letters' at the Theatre Royal, Haymarket (the play is presently suspended due to Covid 19.) and on March 15th she starts rehearsals for a production of Hamlet with Sir Ian McKellan due to open at the Theatre Royal Windsor.
Jenny 's partner is Bill Kenwright CBE, a West End Theatre impresario and Chairman of Everton Football Club. She is also a trustee of the Rotary Jaipur Limb Charity in the UK, and is the Founding Trustee of the Mane Chance Sanctuary, a charity committed to the rescue and rehabilitation of retired and abused horses. Jenny will be talking about her charity, and also, we hope, about her considerable theatrical and film career.
Jenny is not charging any fee for her talk, but the Newport Pagnell Rotary Club will be making a donation to her Mane Chance Charity. If you wish to donate personally, then you can do this via the Mane Chance website https://www.manechancesanctuary.org
