It’s that time of year again when Christmas TV ads are everywhere! Do you have a favourite one?
If you’ve seen Tesco’s, you might recognise the kind of stress that can come with a family gathering at Christmas.
There’s so much pressure to have a good time.
Sadly, for some families, this adds to what might already be a tough relationship.
Christmas can be the final straw.
Many women, worried about their safety and that of their children, leave abusive relationships and find refuge at one of the recognised women’s shelters.
Leaving home with just what they can carry.
Can you imagine how a child feels when they leave everything they know and move to a new place with only the basics?
With your support, Rotary would like to give some comfort to children in this situation over Christmas.
We've carried out research to make sure each of our Christmas boxes has toys and gifts that are just right for the age and gender of the child receiving it.
By donating £30, we can give a gift box with toys worth up to £80.
