The Great Bake-Off at Princetown Primary School

On the 7th July, we supported Princetown Primary School in their Great Bake-Off Competition, the end of a 6 week programme of cooking lessons. We provided personalised aprons and chefs hats to each pupil as well as prizes.

Junior Chef

back Cooking amongst young people is a valuable life skill. Sponsored by the Rotary Club of Yelverton, local primary schoolchildren prepare and present a themed meal within a pre-set budget and time limit, which is judged by an expert panel of Rotarians.

'What We Do' Main Pages:

We fund and run the Yelverton Friendship Cafe every 1st & 3rd Friday 2pm-4pm at Briar Tor Community Rooms. This is a free drop-in group for carers or sufferers of dementia and memory loss to enjoy a social time with people in similar situation.

We raise money locally and distribute it to local good causes, international charities and to Rotary Foundation, Rotary's own charity that funds service projects close to home and around the world.

We do a lot of fundraising and do tremendous work in the community making peoples' lives better, at home and internationally. But perhaps most importantly, WE HAVE FUN while we are doing it.
