All the money raised is for the fight to eradicate that horrible desease Polio. Purple-for-Polio is part of the Rotary worldwide campaign to eliminate Polio from our planet. Very successful for over 30 years but, the job is not done yet. Every donation can now be match funded so, please support the children generously.
The walk will be started by Oswestry Town Mayor, Councillor Rosie Radford.
The Crocus Walk had taken place on the 10th March with The Town Mayor starting the event and five of our Club members stewarding; Sherie, Robin, Chris, Andy and Martin.
Five Schools took part in the walk raising a total of £870 which was up from last year's figure of £669.
Their target for this year had been £1000 and Borderland Rotary donated and additional £130 to meet this target.
