Club members please log in for more information.

For our weekly meeting on Thursday 24th July we met for the first time at the Rutland Arms in Bottesford following the closure of our long-time home, Ashmore’s Restaurant in Radcliffe-on-Trent.

Following the meal President Gail introduced one of our own members, Rob Gray, who presented a “Pointless” quiz based on the well-known television show. Four teams competed to find “pointless” answers to such questions as “American Presidents whose surname ended in N” and “Fictional Bears”. At the end of eight rounds the winning team with the low score of 145 was team H whilst Team G languished in last place with a score of 317. President Gail thanked Rob for the quiz and closed the meeting with the final toast “Rotary and Peace the World over”                 RG
