This action group covers all aspects of the Club's work with young people and also the vocational side of Rotary with members using the elements of their own occupations and interests to enhance Rotary service to the community at large.
Some of the specifics that form part of the group's activities are:-
Kids Out
The opportunity for disabled and disadvantaged children from local schools to have the opportunity of experiencing all the "Fun of the Fair" at King's Lynn Mart with our gratitude to the Showmen's Guild for making it possible
Interact
This is Rotary for youngsters in the latter stages of their secondary education. The Interact Club at King Edward VII School sponsored by Trinity was inaugurated last year and is looking forward to going from strength to strength.
RYLA
Rotary Youth Leadership Awards is another project that the Club has supported for the last few years which provides young people between 18 and 26 with a challenging character building exercise through a one week residential course and it has life changing effects on those that participate. It is undoubtedly excellent value for money and we are always seeking sponsors among Companies as benefits both employer and employee alike. Please make contact with the Club if you have an interest.
Crucial Crew
Another successful project that the Club has been involved in, in conjunction with the Norfolk Fire Service, that, over a week, delivers personal and safety education messages to Year 6 children (10/11 year olds)
