Speaker - RYLA candidate Jack Brown The Birstall Luddite club 2015 RYLA candidate Jack Brown visited the club along with mentor Ossett Rotarian Nev Ooghtibridge and gave a post event talk. Jack gave a daily update of the tasks performed including mountain rescue, an oracle task, a zip line and raft building day. Jack was confident that this week had improved his confidence and communication skills,and he thanked the club for giving him the opportunity to take part in the experience. Mentor Nev complimented Jack on his weeks performance and talked of the personal development the week gives to 16 and 17 year olds Tony the New Generations Committee Chairman who organises the clubs RYLA candidates together with the committee rounded up the RYLA evening and looked forward to next years RYLA candidates. |
