Jimmy Stokes is a former teacher who is author of several books - there is an on line presence. His talk will revolve around his second novel entitled 'Blood on Their Hands' which is set in the Docks area of the city.

The novel revolves around two friends of his who grew up in Tiger Bay. They trained together as teachers in the early 1970s.

Blood on Their Hands is a fictionalised account inspired by the real-life experiences of Algy Foster and Graham Murrell, offering a unique and thought-provoking perspective on contemporary political debates around race and inequality.
