Ex RAF pilot and flying instructor, Bob Maskall will share with us his career with fast jets training.
A retired RAF officer and fast-jet pilot. For most of his 30 years in the RAF he was a flying instructor and trained pilots at every level from Basic flying training to fast-jet Operational Conversion Unit.
Flying more than 5500 hours on several types of aircraft including Canberras and Jaguars Bob has a distinguished track record in both the RAF and Rotary. He finished his career instructing on the Hawk TMk1 at RAF Valley on Anglesey. The RAF aerobatic team uses the Hawk in their aerobatic displays around the world.
Bob’s Rotary experience spans 20 years, where he has just ended his stint as District Governor (DG) for East Anglia. Having previously been a DG in the neighbouring Nrth Wales District he has brought his experience in leadership and membership to all members and has now become Nominee Chair for Rotary in Great Britain & Ireland.
