Sunčica Bulat Würsching

This evening we have with us Dr. Sunčica Bulat Würsching, a Croatian physician, humanitarian, and Rotary leader whose career reflects a deep commitment to both professional excellence and community service. A medical doctor specialising in the conservative treatment of scoliosis and spinal deformities, she has worked with patients since 2002 and is internationally recognised for her contributions to scoliosis management, patient compliance, and innovative brace treatment. She currently serves as President of the Society on Scoliosis Orthopaedic and Rehabilitation Treatment (SOSORT), the world's leading organisation dedicated to non-surgical scoliosis care.

Within Rotary International, Dr. Bulat Würsching served as District Governor of Rotary District 1913 (Croatia) in 2023-2024, becoming one of Croatia's most prominent Rotary leaders. Throughout her Rotary journey she has championed humanitarian service, international cooperation, youth development, health initiatives, community resilience, and disaster relief projects.

Her dedication to humanitarian service began during the Croatian War of Independence, when she helped transport international aid to affected communities. Since then, she has participated in numerous Rotary-led and community projects both in Croatia and abroad, earning widespread respect for her leadership, compassion, and commitment to Service Above Self.

Today, Dr. Bulat Würsching continues to inspire others through her medical leadership, humanitarian work, and Rotary service, promoting international understanding, fellowship, and the application of professional expertise in addressing community needs.
