October 2025 Ambulance for Ukraine Project

Three years of full-scale invasion has had a devastating effect on millions of Ukrainians and those still living there are desperately in need of humanitarian support as ordinary life remains out of reach. David Smith, working with the Northampton Becket Rotary Club and others, in conjunction with the Lviv Rotary Club in Ukraine, have fundraised to purchase a second-hand passenger ambulance which will then be modified to have some passenger seats removed and a stretcher installed.

As well as delivering the ambulance, David and his team has filled the ambulance with donated items all in high demand in the Ukraine. Items needed are winter clothing, wheelchairs, crutches, walkers, lifting frames, along with a few small generators.  These have been generously donated by the people of Northamptonshire.  This humanitarian aid package will be gratefully received by the people of Ukraine and it will be a very humbling experience for all involved..
