Apedale Mining Museum - visit

The Ladies from our Wellbeing Project Visit with Pete and Paul

Apedale Visit

Rotarian Les, invited us to visit and share notes with their own gardening team. It was an absolutly marvelous experience with many ideas... and seeds.. shared.

Apedale is the most amazing place to visit! Dedicated to protecting our local mining heritage. The museum is extremely informative and captivating for all ages.

The undergorund authentic tour of the mine workings is absolutely mind blowing, as one who suffers from a fear of confined spaces I was very nervous but how wrong could I have been. Totally organsised and safe with an expert guide. You get to experience the real thing.

Finish off with a visit to the cafe, another WOW experience, amazingly good range of hot and cold food, drinks. Never seen such quality and value on my visits anywhere.

Many thanks to Les and his colleagues and the links made.
