Rotary GB&I is partnering with the Canal & River Trust to organise Impact Days and support ongoing Rotary club events and activities in the Midlands and North West this month.
The Trust look after 2,000 miles of waterways across their network. Rotary volunteers can help the charity support essential access to waterways and green spaces to benefit local communities and canal users, provide natural habitats for a diverse range of plants and wildlife, and preserve the heritage of the canal network.
Paul and his partner Lindy attended this great day. Along with other Rotary Clubs and District Governor Cressida we helped with mowing the lawns (a lot of mowing LOL), clearing Nature Pathways, repairing driveways and other tasks.
It was a great day of volunteering and getting to know others. We were blessed with glorious weather and enjoyed a picnic in the sun.
