Our President shares her background

Getting to know our President

Dr. Bharati Singh joined Blythe Bridge & District Rotary in 2021, introduced by her father-in-law, one of the club’s founder members. Inspired by Rotary’s values of service and fellowship, she has been an active member and is proud to serve as Club President during 2025/26 Rotary Year.

Bharati brings a wealth of professional and international experience to her Rotary role. She has over 16 years of expertise across corporate and global banking with leading multinational institutions, followed by a successful transition into academia. Since 2011, she has dedicated herself to higher education and is currently the Course Director for Postgraduate Business programmes and Award Leader for the MBA at Staffordshire University. She is passionate about shaping the next generation of leaders by combining real-world business insights with academic excellence.

A firm believer in lifelong learning and community engagement, Bharati is also an accomplished researcher and mentor. Her professional achievements are matched by her commitment to empowering others, whether students, colleagues, or community members.

During her presidential year, Bharati is particularly focused on strengthening membership and ensuring that Blythe Bridge & District Rotary continues its tradition of service, friendship, and positive local impact.

Outside of work and Rotary, Bharati enjoys sport and was once a national-level basketball player in India. She now balances professional life with family and community, while bringing the same energy and teamwork from the court into her leadership roles.
