RYLA student feedback

Our RYLA student of 2024 reported on her experience of the leadership training event and various outdoor and indoor activities during the week at Arthog in August. She was congratulated and presented with her certificate of successful completion.

A team of nine members and supporters of Bala and Penllyn Rotary Club turned out for the start of the Spring Clean season and gathered a substantial amount of discarded junk and litter from the footpaths and woods near the river Tryweryn.

The thoughtless or even deliberate depositing of litter remains a problem of our times. Litter is not only unsightly and a blot on our beautiful footpath and countryside but can also be dangerous to people and wildlife, especially broken glass.
