Visit to Conwy Rotary Club

Six Bala Rotary members enjoyed an evening of fellowship over a meal with members of Conwy Rotary Club in The Old Station Hotel, Llandudno Junction. Looking forward we hope to a reciprocal visit one day!

A team of nine members and supporters of Bala and Penllyn Rotary Club turned out for the start of the Spring Clean season and gathered a substantial amount of discarded junk and litter from the footpaths and woods near the river Tryweryn.

The thoughtless or even deliberate depositing of litter remains a problem of our times. Litter is not only unsightly and a blot on our beautiful footpath and countryside but can also be dangerous to people and wildlife, especially broken glass.
