On behalf of the Rotary Club of Bala and Penllyn, 2025 President Adrian and BC coordinator Glyn wish to thank the 160 walkers and runners and the team of 30 volunteers who helped make the 18th Bala Challenge a success. We are especially grateful to Bala Caravan Parks (Pen y Garth), DH Jones Agricultural and Forestry Equipment Supplier, Blakemore/SPAR Retail Stores and Aykroyd's Nightwear for sponsoring the event.
Once again the weather was amazing, and aside from what individuals raised for charities of their own choice, the Rotary Club raised £3,150 for charity and an additional £1,700 for the Rotary e-Club of Moldova International for a Maternal and Child Health Project to benefit refugee mothers and children displaced from Ukraine.
