Presidential Handover 2023 and Paul Harris Awards
Handover
On Tuesday June 27th, Rotary Club President Terry Forryan handed over the Presidency to Robert Easthope at The Bell Inn, Burton Overy.
Before handing over, the last pleasant official duty for Terry, as President, was to make three members of the Club ‘Paul Harris Fellows’. Paul Harris founded Rotary in Chicago in 1905 and the Paul Harris Fellowship scheme was started in 1957 in his memory.
The award is in recognition of an outstanding contribution to Rotary in general and to the Kibworth & Fleckney Rotary Club in particular.
Paul Kirby and Michael Pearce were founder members of the club, in 1987, and Michael Smith joined soon after.
