The weather was kind and the support from attendees both local and not so local ensured this was a very successful event now firmly embedded in the Kibworth Annual Events Calendar. Hi-5 Fireworks provided a wonderful display of light and colour to the gathered throng. Food and soft drinks were available to the audience together with an ample supply of glow sticks.
The profit of over £6500 from the event will allow the Rotary Club to support many local projects including the local Scouts & Guides, The Well and many others. Post Covid it is great to see our youngsters outside, in the fresh air, taking part in activities organised by the Scouting movement. The numbers of Scouts and Guides locally is on the increase which is a very healthy sign. However, these organisations need help with funding, so than you for comming to the Fireworks and helping to raise some funds.
Thanks to all those who helped to make the event a success and to the members of the public who attended swelling the funds raised for local good local causes.
