Gardens for Schools

Gardens provided for Henry Chichele and Wharf Road Primary Schools in Higham Ferrers

In association with the Rotary Club of Rushden, we have provided raised beds and plants for the children of both the Henry Chichele School and Wharf Road Primary School in Higham Ferrers.  The raised beds were kindly made from old pallets by Wm. Morrison Ltd.  These were then lined, painted and filled with soil ready for the children to place some plants and learn to care for them.

The completed project was handed over to Wharf Road School, and the final handover will soon be happening at Henry Chichele School.

Update:

The children are now harvesting their produce which they are donating to the local Food Bank.  This project has been a win, win all round.
