As part of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations, we will be joining the people of Higham Ferrers at the Saffron Road Recreation Ground. We will be having a stall with old fashioned games for the children - hook-a-duck, guess the number of sweets in a jar, guess the name of the dog, jenga and connect four.
We hope for good weather, a good turnout and lots of fun.
Update:
The weather was not brilliant - it was drizzling most of the day - but Higham Ferrers turned out in force. The 100 prizes we had purchased were nearly all gone within and hour and a half, so we had to send out for further supplies.
All in all, we made a wonderful profit of £241.00 and made a lot of children very happy...
