Since mid-December the Club has been helping Nene Valley Surgery in Thrapston with the COVID-19 vaccintion programme. We have been employed in various guises both inside and outside the suregery. We have had help from four other local clubs in undertaking people marshalling, traffic control, temperature taking and Recovery Tent management.
To date, our combined effort represents just over 1,000 very community beneficial man-hours (of which the club itself has been responsible for just over 650).
This level of effort will continue for the foreseeable future, especially with the likelihood of booster vaccoinations for the over-50s looming from September onwards
