The Rotary Club of Bradford on Avon has able to support the ongoing relief work in Turkey and Syria with donations to the Water Survival Box and Shelter Box charities and through the street collection held over the wet February weekend the Disaster Emergency Committee. While it is hard to imagine the devastation and hardships this disaster has caused from our distant perspective, the loss of life has already exceeded the population of Trowbridge and has had a direct affect on some 17 million others. Support will be required for some time to come.
