Farewell to Dave Oakes

Rainhill Rotary says goodbye to Dave Oakes as he retires from the Club.

After nearly 33 years as a proud and active member of Rainhill Rotary Club, Dave retired from the Club at our Business Meeting (2.7.26).

He was President 2009/10, Beer Festival Chair (3 times) & gave his time, energy & mechanical expertise in numerous projects to support others in the community.

The Rotary values of service, friendship and generosity were ones Oaksie truly embraced.

We wish both Dave and Sheila all the very best for the future - we will miss you!
