Community Support Fund Presentation Evening

£34,000! That’s the amount shared between 48 local charities and good causes.

The Community Support Fund ran between January and April and saw a big response from a variety of applicants culminating in a presentation evening when twelve charities gave us an insight into their activities.

Rainhill Rotary raised the money from the Santa Sleigh and Beer Festival and held its annual presentation evening last Thursday (21st May 2026) at Rainhill Ex-Service's Club.

Charities attending & pictured:

Merseyside Blood Bikes, Halton Photographic Society, Willowbrook Hospice, Rainhill Eco Garden, The 4F Centre, 4th St. Helens (Rainhill St. Ann’s) Scouts, Newton-le-Willows Sea Cadets, St Helens Walking Football, Rainhill Karate Club, Rainhill Old Peoples Welfare Committee, Salvation Army (Prescot), Tea 'N Toast

Specials thanks & awards were presented to Mark Salmon & Michael, Northgate Vehicle Hire for their support during our Santa Sleigh collections.

Many thanks for all your support
