Rotary District 1175 Environmental Weekend

To tie in with Great Big Green Week, Devon & Cornwall clubs are promoting environmental issues.
18th to 26th September is Great Big Green Week and to mark this, we would like you to think of our environment in this lovely part of Devon.
Back in June we engaged in our own project, 'Clean Your Ria' when we cleared as much plastic waste as we could from the Salcombe and Kingsbridge Estuary.
So this weekend when our for a walk, why not pick up some litter yourself along the way?

Many thanks to all those who donated towards the ShelterBox collection for Moroccan Earthquake and Libyan Floods. £392.13 was collected and the Club voted to increase the donation to £600. ShelterBox are currently assessing the countries needs.
