Gordon arranged for Rotarians and friends to stay at the Damson Dene Hotel again. There were 16 of us and we all met up on Friday afternoon. Some had walked along the sea front at Grange, others had gone to the hotel after visiting other parts of the Lakes.
Friday evening was dinner and catch up. Saturday saw 10 of us going to Skelwith Bridge for coffee, prior to a 5 mile walk around Elterwater in beautiful weather. Lunch was taken at a pub in the middle of the walk.
On Saturday evening we had our usual difficult, but enjoyable quiz set by Gill and Fiona, Peter and Shirley's daughters. Everyone wins a prize in their quizzes!
Sunday morning was time to leave, with some going straight home, but others visiting Sizergh Castle and Barn or other places along the way.
Some pictures are attached as a reminder for those who were there.
Altogether another very enjoyable and successful trip. Many thanks Gordon.
