Memory Cafe meeting - September 2018
The meeting at Bryony House, where a singer entertained the guests.
The meeting of the Memory Cafe this month was held on Thursday 20th September and not only was this a change from the normal "Last Wednesday " in the month but, in order to attract a larger audience, the meeting was held in the main lounge of Bryony Park Nursing Home.
In attempt to stir memories, a singer was engaged to entertain the audience to songs from the 50's and 60's. the singer performing under the "Stage name " of Kayley. She was such a success that some of the audience where seen to dance to the music.
Everyone present had a great time and enjoyed the old time hit songs, such as "Underneath the Lamp Light" and "Rock around the Clock"

more Our new Memory Cafe had its opening session on 30th August at 2.00 pm and will continue on the last Wednesday afternoon of each month in the future.
Second meeting
more Several members and guests, with their carers, met again and, by request, played bingo as well as socialising.

back This new community venture opened in August 2017. The meetings are held at 2.00 pm on the last Wednesday each month.
