Jessica was our sponsored member in the Tall Ships Race and came to tell us about her experiences in that event.
Jessica was accompanied by her father Ian and a teacher from Monkwearmouth Academy Mark Adams.
She had prepared an excellent slide presentation, which added to her description of the occasion of her travelling across the North Sea to Esjberg as part of the Tall Ships Race.
It had clearly been a most enjoyable event for her and she had made many friends on board the yacht.

moreThis committee is concerned with the administration of the club. It incorporates: House; Registrar; Fellowship; Programme; Sport. The President Elect is usually the chairman of the committee, with other members taking a lead in each particular activity.

Each year a new card is painted by Rotarian Randle Oliver. These are sold to friends as well as other Rotary club members to raise funds for Rotary Foundation and other charities, including our own Benevolent Fund.
